There is always something to do at Downing Park Urban Farm and we need your help!
tasks include:
- moving wood chips + compost
- transplanting and sowing seeds
- watering
- weeding, laying down weed barriers
- building garden beds, trellis
- pruning
- harvesting
- washing, packing
- pest management
- landscaping
Volunteers get the benefit of fresh air, sunshine, exercise, good company, gardening education and experience. Also, If available volunteers are allowed to take home fresh produce.
